JU is one of the most international universities in Sweden in terms of the number of international students and faculty as well as student-exchange opportunities. Research is also largely internationally focused, which translates into internationally relevant programmes and courses. Weâ€™re home to JÃ¶nkÃ¶ping International Business School (the first school in Sweden to gain both EQUIS and AACSB accreditation) and have a strong focus on entrepreneurship throughout the university. Outside of the classroom, weâ€™re known for having one of the best orientation weeks for new students in the country and guarantee accommodation for international students.Many programmes utilise local business experts as guest lecturers in the classroom or offer company visits. In some programmes students interact with local businesses like IKEA as a part of coursework. A close collaboration with the nearby Science Park incubator creates an environment for innovative students to try out and commercialise their ideas.
