Azerbaijan student visa guidelines

An application for an Azerbaijani student visa is made at the Embassy or Consulate of Azerbaijan in the students home country. The following documents are needed to support a student visa application:

Invitation letter from the university (admission letter)
Proof of income to support the student during their stay and pay for tuition fees
Passport
Two photographs
Visa application form
Fee
A student visa must be renewed each academic year.

International students are issued with an immigration card. The student should prepare the following documents and submit them to their university. Thereafter, the university will assist with obtaining the student's temporary residence permit:

Two passport-sized photographs
Medical certificate
Copy of passport
Completed application form
Rent or tenancy agreement, which must be notarised
Written application of the landlord (who rents out property to an international student) to the State Migration Service
Notarised copy of the ID card or passport of the landlord who is renting accommodation to the student
