For medical students, after study they can appear for medical council of India test to work in India. Most of the students prepare for USMLE and they go for USA. Some students they prefer to do Post graduate course in order to get specialized.
MCI test:
Medical council of India has announced that all candidates who have done mbbs abroad have to undergo screening test. This screening test is conducted by the national board of education in newdelhi. Test will be conducted twice in a year. The duration will be for 3 hours. There will 150 objective type questions for screening test with multiple choices. There is no negative marking and 50% is the pass mark. There is no limit on the number of attempts to take this test. Private coaching is not necessary. Upon clearing the screening test, candidates can work or open clinic in India.
USMLE test:
The United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) is a multi-part professional exam sponsored by the Federation of State Medical Boards (FSMB) and the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME). Medical doctors with an M.D. degree are required to pass this examination before being permitted to practice medicine in the United States of America.
